A generously-sized Victorian gold-filled oval locket with a three-dimensional metal flower basket applied to its front. The pretty and unusual locket hangs on a decorative Aesthetic Movement bale from a gold filled rope chain. The interior of the locket is clean, with no glass or frame. So sweet, this would make a charming Mother's Day gift. Circa 1870.
Details.....The locket measures 1.24" by 1.56", 2.21" with bale. The chain is 26" long. In Very Good Antique Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique pieces, we consider it part of the charm.
