This Victorian sterling silver English medal fob is unusual due to its double sided construction. The shield-shaped medal is beautified with cut work and engraving, framing a 3-d cast shield at the fob's center. The back of the medal is the same, except for hallmarking. The medal bears no personal engraving, it is fresh and ready for your own message. It is finished with a sterling silver jump ring. This beautiful fob will make a bold statement worn on one of our Ancient Influences married chains.

The medal is hallmarked for Birmingham, sterling silver and the year 1899. It is signed with the maker's mark H.B for Henry Bourne, a silversmith producing out of Birmingham at the time.

Details.....The medal measures 1.05" by 1.49", 1.80" with bale. It weighs 9.1 grams. In Very Good Antique Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels, we consider it part of the charm.
