Victorian Garnet & Engraved Gold Ring

A glowing oval garnet cabochon is set in an exquisitely engraved 10k gold setting. The garnet is a lush berry color, set in a fancy engraved bezel within a scalloped halo of gold. Each shoulder is engraved with diagonal stripes bordered by classic Victorian designs. The flat band tapers elegantly from shoulder to shank. This ring is a lovely example of late 19th Century gemstone rings, in crisp condition with elevated details. Circa 1890.

Details.....Currently a size 6.25. The ring may be sized up or down two sizes free of charge. Please contact us if you need this ring sized more than two sizes, it may be possible and will have a small fee. The top of the ring measures 13.2mm by 10.2mm and the band tapers from 7.8mm at the shoulder to 2mm wide at the back of the band.
