We at GSL have a real fondness for agates. This stunning bracelet is what was commonly called a specimen bracelet in the early 1800's. It contains a variety of high quality specimens of Scottish Agates which are set in fancy yellow gold cut back collet frames. The clasp is simply and beautifully made as well. Our modern machine shows us the gold content varies from 9 to 14k, not uncommon for an early hand crafted piece. This bracelet dates circa 1820.
Details.....The bracelet measures 7" long and the agates average 20mm x 15mm. In really lovely antique condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique pieces, we consider it part of the charm.
