Something this rare and beautiful always challenges my ability to describe it. Dating from the very early 1800's this late Georgian Demi-Parure is set with deliciously chunky Chrysoberyl gems in their classic shades of yellow. The gems are set in 18ct gold beaded and clawed cut back collets with elaborate swishes of gold curled round everywhere with bubble like gold ball details. The pendant is convertible and can be worn 4 ways. The backs are closed bubble like and detailed and the gems foiled as they should be from this period. This is a rare opportunity to own something this precious for a reasonable price. A treasure for generations past and yet to come.
Details.....The pendant measures 2.56" long and .82" at its widest, since it can be worn in multiple ways I will give you individual piece sizes as well. The bale (top most piece) measures .30" x .50", the center measures .85" x 1.25", the bottom piece measures .56" x .95" and the chain is 18" long, it is important to mention that this would have originally been worn on a ribbon. The earrings measure 1.65" drop from the ear and .67" wide. This set is in Amazing condition for 200 years old and that can likely be contributed to the fact it is still in its original fitted box. You should always expect some wear on Vintage and Antique Jewels, we consider it a part of their charm.
