Circa 1780. Exquisite. Table cut garnets surround a pear shaped garnet, all are foil backed in a closed setting. A feather and roses adorn each forked shoulder, the balance and design are so lovely. The gold is 18k. Garnets have always been a favourite of mine, they are a beautiful & passionate gem.
Details.....Currently a size 6.75, this ring can be sized by us for no extra charge. The width of the band at the back is 2mm. The top measures 14.4mm x 13.5mm. The ring shows wear in accordance with its age, it dates from the 1780's.
