Add a generous pinch of glitter to the mix with this Edwardian goldstone pendant. A disc of the fabulous coppery glass is set in a gold filled wire bezel that displays both sides of the "gem." The bale is a simple wire twist of that make it easy to wear this fancy little thing on one of our Ancient Influences married chains. Circa 1900.
The "gem" commonly referred to as goldstone is actually a specialized type of glass. It is created by mixing copper and other metal oxides with molten glass, then allowing tiny crystals of metallic copper to form.
Details.....The charm measures 1.20" in diameter, 1.36" with bale. In Very Good Antique Condition. Imperfections are to be expected in antique jewelry, it is considered part of its charm.
