The anchor has been a popular motif in jewelry since the Victorian era, it has long been a symbol of hope. This nautical necklace is a great example of the style, the 14k rose gold anchor is beautifully modeled and wrapped with wire "rope." The pendant hangs on a recycled 14k rose gold rope chain. Circa 1960.
Details.....The anchor measures 18.6mm by 26mm. The chain is 16" long. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it part of the charm.
