Gold Band Patterned with Wreath of Soft Leaves

This is a lovely example of the patterned Art Deco bands made by J.R. Woods & Sons. A wreath of soft leaves are sculpted around the 14k gold band. A stepped edge with milgrain beading borders the leaves. The band has a bright high polish that brings a buttery gloss to the piece. Enchanting worn alone or paired with almost anything. Circa 1930.

J. R. Wood & Sons was founded in 1850, in Trenton, New Jersey. The J. R. Wood & Sons' 1919 catalogue describes the company as "diamond cutters, wedding ring makers and manufacturers of fine gold and platinum jewelry."

Details.....This ring is a size 6. It cannot be sized. The band measures 1.9mm wide. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should expect all vintage and antique jewels to show some wear; we consider it part of their charm.
