Gold & Turquoise Heart Locket Necklace by Ancient Influences

An elaborate little heart locket hangs on a 14k gold foxtail chain necklace. The 18k gold locket resembles a traditional heart padlock; however, the shackle is stationary and the heart opens on hinges to reveal an empty compartment. A fine pattern of stars and hexagons are engraved over the heart's surface, and three bright blue turquoises are set in a wee clover applied to its front. The locket hangs on a locking watch hook that slides freely on the tightly woven chain. A spring ring clasp fastens the chain. So versatile, the locket can be removed from the hook, and the hook can be removed from the chain. Ingredients circa 1840 to 1880.

From the Married Chains Collection by Ancient Influences. All of the ingredients in this necklace are recycled and vintage. Small imperfections are to be expected and considered part of their charm.

Details.....The chain is 22.5" long, the links measure 1.2mm wide. The hook is .62" long, and the locket measures .44" by .61".
