Gorgeous Gold Chain with Delightful Details

This chain is exquisite, with wonderful antique details. A gorgeous handmade loose twisted rope chain is accented with delightful sculpted barrel links. The barrel links are engraved with stylized arrows. The clasp is hidden inside one of these links. The decorative barrel links can be worn to the front when you are feeling fancy. The 12k and 15k gold ingredients of this necklace date from circa 1850-1870.

This line of jewelry is all about my two favourite things, the art of adornment and the art of re-purposing. I use pieces that are no longer viable in their original configurations by taking them apart and creating fresh, wearable pieces of jewelry.

Details.....The chain is 18" long. The barrel beads measure 4.4mm wide. The rope chain is 3.5mm wide. The chain weighs 11.19 grams.

Each item from this line of Jewelry is unique and incorporates re-purposed Vintage and Antique pieces, small imperfections are to be expected and considered part of their charm.
