This gorgeous sterling silver brooch is an unsigned work of art. The slightly domed disc-shaped brooch is decorated with a beautifully balanced abstract design. The piece was created using the Hopi overlay technique in which a carved layer of polished silver is applied to a layer of oxidized silver, creating a shadow box effect of contrasting textures. Circa 1980.
Details.....The brooch measures 2.14" in diameter. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should expect some wear on all vintage and antique jewels, we consider it part of their charm.
