A graceful 14k gold horseshoe brooch set with creamy pearls and indigo blue sapphires. The sapphires are prong-set, and the pearls are post-set, alternating around the brooch's slim arch. Fastens with a long rollover pin. Engraved on the back, with the personal inscription "B.R.S. to S.P. 7-25-59." Someone in the 1950s appreciated vintage jewelry; this piece dates to circa 1910
