A delicate little bird, perhaps a hummingbird, is captured in flight. This sterling silver brooch has a fluid grace that gives the piece a naturalistic vitality. Her wings, head, beak, and tail are depicted in curved lines engraved with milgrain beading and set with glittering marcasites. A single red stone is set in her eye. Marked on the back with "925 CW." Such a sweet thing will happily alight on your favorite sweater. Circa 1970.
