This is a lovely gold banded Gutta-Percha bracelet. The 15k gold bands on the bangle are embellished with engravings at the hinge and opening. In lovely condition and really comfortable to wear.
Gutta-percha was made using the sap of a tree and was one of the more prominent materials used alongside Jet and Vulcanite to create the black mourning jewelry popular in the Victorian period.
Details....The bracelet has an inside diameter of 2.17" x 1.68" and measures .76" wide. A good size for a small to medium small wrist.
