This handsome sterling silver English medal fob is in crisp condition. The round medal is topped with a ribbon-like banner. An applied gold shield sits at the center, bordered by a scaled pattern and hand-engraved with the initials "JM." The back of the medal is engraved with the personal inscription "J.A. Mitchell Sculling Cup 1921." This fine fob will look handsome on one of our Ancient Influences' married chains.
The medal is hallmarked for Birmingham, sterling silver, and 1921. It bears the maker's mark "Bs" for silversmith Bravingtons Ltd.
Details: The medal measures 1" by 1.40". In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it part of the charm.
