An English heart locket of buttery gold and vibrant turquoise, a lovely example of Edwardian romance and luxury. A tiny cabochon of sky blue turquoise is star-set in glossy 15ct yellow gold with a glowing patina. The locket closes with a nice, tight snap, and the interior has neither glass nor frames. This piece is hallmarked on the back for England, Birmingham, 15ct and 1901-02. A sweet locket that would make a delightful love token or mother's day gift.
