This popular style of wide, thin, decorated band was referred to as a "Cigar Band." There was much variety in available designs and this lovely example is heavily engraved with a pattern of flowers and vines. The 18ct gold band was made in England during the Edwardian era. It is hallmarked for Birmingham, 18ct and the years 1916-1917.
