This interesting 19th-century fob is set with an intaglio depicting a Roman soldier. The top of the gold-filled fob is a pair of engraved leaves that form a bale. The base is a cut-corner rectangle engraved with Neo-Classical flourishes. Set in the base is an onyx plaque carved with a handsome soldier wearing a rakish helm. A collection of charms and fobs will keep your jewelry wardrobe fresh and creative, and this handsome piece is small enough to be worn any way you like. Circa 1890.
Details.....The fob measures .59" by .37" by .57". In Very Good Antique Condition. Some wear is to be expected on vintage and antique jewels; it is a part of their charm.
