These onyx and abalone earrings are mesmerizing. Two sterling silver half circles, one larger and one smaller, are inlaid with arcs of onyx that curve over semi-circles of abalone. The vibrant iridescence of the abalone is radiant in contrast to the inky black onyx. The half circles are hinged creating easy, comfortable movement. These are post earrings. Their backs are stamped "925." Circa 1970.
Details.....The earrings measure 1.3" long and 1.2" wide. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels, we consider it part of their charm.
