An Italian sterling silver herringbone necklace with a substantial width and weight. The flat, tightly woven links display the distinctive zigzag fish skeleton pattern from whence this popular chain's name is derived. The necklace's terminals are marked "Italy," and the handsome piece fastens with a sturdy lobster claw clasp. Circa 1980.
