Jaunty Striped Band in Gold, Platinum & Diamonds

Contrasting textures and colors made this fabulous vintage ring shine. Jaunty stripes of plaited 18k yellow gold and diamond-set platinum alternate across the domed top of the ring. Wide shoulders taper back to a narrower band. The layering of white platinum, yellow gold and sparkling diamonds gives this beauty both drama and versatility. It makes a stylish occasional piece or an interesting and unexpected wedding band. Circa 1960.
