This dramatic Jazz Age carnelian and marcasite ring radiates European glamour. A deep red carnelian cut into a flat, elongated oval tablet. Four prongs hold the stone atop an elaborate sterling ring engraved and spangled with glittering marcasite. Sculpted shoulders and a low-profile gallery hug the finger, and a slim half-round band completes the piece. The underside of the ring is marked "Sterling" and "Germany." Carnelian, marcasite, and silver were a classic combination during the thrilling Art Deco era. Circa 1920.

Details.....Currently a size 5.5. For a fee, silver rings can usually be sized within two sizes. Contact us for sizing information about this ring. The top of the ring measures 18.3mm by 26.2mm, and the band is 1.5mm wide. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it part of the charm.
