Jazz Age Lab Ruby Signet Ring

This bold Art Deco signet-style ring features a lab created ruby set in 14k gold. Lab created gemstones were very popular in the early 20th Century, the colorful stones were often cut into unusual shapes. This ruby is an east/west oriented rectangle, it's bright red and faceted to sparkle. Tabs hold the gem above a shallow gallery, between V-shaped shoulders. Engraved geometric patterns cover the pale yellow gold ring. Fun Jazz Age glamour. Circa 1920.

Details.....Currently a size 9.5. The top of the ring measures 12.5mm by 9.2mm, the band is 2mm wide. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should expect some wear on all vintage and antique pieces; we consider it part of the charm.
