Light Rice Krispie Pearl Necklace

Have some beachy fun with this light strand of freshwater Rice Krispie pearls. The white pearls are ovate, like oversized Rice Krispies (hence the name), with a glossy, rumpled silk texture. The pearls are strung on white silk with an oval silver gilt clasp embellished with floral filigree. The back of the clasp is marked "S925." Layer these pearls with gold chains or perhaps some coral or turquoise beads. Circa 1960.
Details...The pearl strand measures 18" long. The pearls average 4mm wide. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on your vintage and antique jewels; we consider it part of their charm.
