Grand Period Engraved English Silver Locket

Large silver lockets were chic ladies' daywear in the Mid-Victorian era, and this English locket is a superb example of the style. The front of this sterling silver locket is heavily engraved with a fan-like pattern in the Grand Period fashion. The interior of the locket is clean, with glass and frame on one side. This locket is hallmarked on its back and its bale for sterling silver, Birmingham, England, and the years 1882-83. Wear this lovely piece on a ribbon, book chain, or one of our Ancient Influences married chains.
