Lovely 18k Rose Cut Diamonds Slide Locket

This gold locket from the 1890s has a gorgeous flower and vine design with hints of Art Nouveau and Aesthetic movement. The center of the locket has an engraving of flowers, each set with a rose cut diamond, it also has one of my favourite things that occur on antique gold jewels, a beautiful bloom. The bloom can be polished off if you choose but I find it charming. The back is decorated with very fancy engraved initials, here's my educated guess as to what they are C J de F. I love the little de between the middle and last initial. This locket is nice and sturdy and slides to open. 18k yellow gold.

Details.....The locket measures 1.23". In Excellent Antique Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique pieces, we consider it part of the charm.
