Lovely 19thc Trefoil Locket
Wonderful hand engraving covers both sides of this pretty locket. One side has bluebells, the other has leaves and blossoms with a curving panel for engraving on the bottom (which is bare). The interior has 3 distinct photo compartments that make it even more special. The locket opens and closes nicely. Circa 1850 12k gold, a common karatage in the early and middle 1800's. Circa 1850.
I have a love for fobs and lockets and try to always have a nice selection. They make wonderful pendants and layering pieces.
Details.....The locket measures 25.1mm x 34.1mm. In Good Antique condition for its age with some wear. Imperfections are to be expected in antique jewelry; it is considered part of its charm.
