Lychee Fruit Jade Pendant with 22k Detail

A fabulous jade pendant, exquisitely carved into a pair of lychee fruit with leaves. The distinctive texture of the lychee fruit is instantly recognizable in this sensitive carving. The bright green jade is topped with a decorative 22k gold bale in the form of a leaf. Lychee fruit represents romance, beauty, and luck. This wonderful piece was most likely a love token. The pendant is suspended from a new 14k rope chain made of recycled gold. Circa 1920.

Details.....The jade pendant measures 0.50" by 1.16", 1.35" with bale. The chain is 18" long. In Excellent Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels, we consider it part of the charm.
