A magnificent Edwardian dome ring featuring a stunning 1.01ct old mine cut diamond. This antique tone is centered in the platinum dome, surrounded by 18 old cut accent diamonds, bead-set in the precious pierced and engraved metal. The exquisitely spangled top of the ring sits on a slender band, etched with a floral and leaf motif. Such an exquisite piece, nothing compares to these very early 20th Century rings. Circa 1910.
This ring comes with an insurance replacement cost appraisal. The appraisal is done by an independent gem lab. The appraised value is $8200.
Diamond Details.....The center diamond is a 1.01ct old mine cut, with VS2 clarity and I-J color. Eighteen old mine and old European cut accent diamonds have a .37tcw with VSI-2 clarity and I-J color range. The diamonds have a total weight of 1.38 carats.
Details.....Currently a size 6. The top of the ring measures 13mm by 11.3mm and the band is 1mm wide. In Very Good Antique Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels, we consider it part of the charm.
