A beautifully crafted 18k gold pendant featuring a pair of magnificent sea goats, the mythological creatures that symbolize the Capricorn Zodiac sign. The piece is a slightly concave gold disc. Repoussé work depicts the animals in bas relief; the pendant's back reveals how the repoussé technique creates images. The detail on their horns is wonderful. A matte finish gives the piece a luxurious glow, and a jump ring has been added to the bale for ease of wear. The 1970s produced some of my favorite zodiac designs.
Details.....The charm measures 1" in diameter. In Very Good Vintage Condition. Some wear should be expected on all vintage and antique pieces, we consider it to be part of their charm.
