Mesmeric Turquoise in Sand Cast Silver Cuff

A mesmeric turquoise is the star of this Navajo sand cast cuff. The oval turquoise is tropical ocean-blue, mottled with a mossy, green-gold matrix. The stone is set in a roughly scalloped, raised bezel over a scrolling coin silver cuff. The sand casting process has given the bracelet a craggy, organic quality that enhances the natural beauty of the turquoise. Circa 1960.
