The Minerva necklace features a collection of beads in sedate blues and greens with black and white accents. The beads are strung on silk and suspended on a sterling silver cable chain that fastens with a spring ring clasp. Minerva is the Roman goddess of wisdom, medicine, and justice. She is the sponsor of arts, crafts, and trade. Roman glass beads are crafted from ancient glass fragments dating from the 1st to 4th centuries AD. The glass is excavated along historic trade routes, then cleaned, cut, and drilled.

Details.....The necklace is 23" long. The glass segment is 6.75" wide, and the beads range from 3.9mm to 10.7mm. In New Condition. The beads are ancient glass, each is unique with imperfections in keeping with their age.
