This vintage archeological reproduction hails from the Metropolitan Museum of Art's 1976 King Tut exhibit. A square cartouche of gilt metal depicts an ankh, serpent and a glyph that resembles the rising/setting sun, in low relief. A triple-loop bale allows the piece to be worn on a chain, ribbon, leather thong or anything else you can like. The back of the plaque is signed "MMA 1976". A gorgeous memento of a spectacular exhibit. Circa 1976.

Details.....The pendant measures 1.75" by 1.61", 1.95" with bale. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique pieces; we consider it part of the charm.
