The Modernist movement is a favourite of ours, studio jewelers pushing the boundaries of "normal" and creating surreal beauty. This dramatic ring is a fine example of the style. A honey-colored cabochon cut amber sits in a sterling silver planchette-shaped shadow box. The amber has wonderful inclusions, petrified pollen and fragments of vegetation. This wonderful ring dates to the 1970s.
Details.....Currently a size 8.25, this ring can be sized for a fee. The top measures 0.68" by 0.52" and the band measures 2.9mm wide. In Very Good Vintage condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels we consider it part of the charm.
