Monumental Amber & Sterling Silver Modernist Ring

The Modernist school of Design is known for its big, bold, and aesthetic statements. This monumental amber ring is an outstanding example of the genre. A huge chunk of amber is cut and polished; its strange form plays magically with the light. It sits in a sterling silver free-form bezel designed to perfectly cup the unique gem. The bezel sits on a simple half-round sterling silver band. This ring is a surreal piece of art. Amazingly, it was not signed by its maker. Circa 1970.

Details: Currently a size 8.25. The top of the ring measures 1.02" by 1.20", with a .70" profile. The band measures 1.7mm wide. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it part of the charm.
