This chubby little Corn Maiden pendant was carved from what seems to be sandstone painted to resemble pipe stone. She has a silver wire bale strung with turquoise and coral beads that hangs from a modern sterling silver cable chain. She has a tiny sticker that reads "Anthony Tarpin Navajo" on her bum. Circa 1990.

Across Native American cultures, the Corn Maidens symbolize the prayers of the people for a bountiful harvest.

Details.....The chain is 18" long and the pendant measures 0.75" by 1.36", 2.25" with bale. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should expect some wear on all vintage and antique jewels, we consider it part of their charm.
