Gorgeous turquoise and sterling silver earrings by Navajo artist Sharon Cisco. Ovals of rich, glossy, blue and green turquoise sit in hand-cut bezels within frames of scalloped silver overlay. The turquoise gems have a subtle difference in color, and they are highly complimentary. The overlay resembles waves or petals, with oxidized low points and brightly polished high points. The post earrings have flat backs, making them easy and comfortable to wear. The back of these studs are stamped "Sterling" and with Sharon Cisco's "SC" makers mark. Circa 1960.
Details.....The studs measure 15mm by 17.2mm. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect wear in vintage jewels, it is considered part of their charm.
