This necklace is a work of art, from the perfectly cut 1/2 moon turquoises to the superlative silver work. Octavius & Irma Seowtewa, a husband and wife team, made the most gorgeous jewels in the Zuni tradition of petit point set turquoise. This necklace is a lovely example of their work down to the elongated raindrop silver dangles. It feels and looks fabulous when worn. Circa 1970-80, Sterling Silver, Turquoise.
Details.....This lovely Necklace measures 18.75" long, The center panels are 5.25" wide and 1.75" long including the dangles. In Excellent Vintage condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels, we consider it a part of their charm.
