Old Euro Diamond & Pear-Cut Sapphire Dreamy Deco Ring

Delicate Art Deco details and beautiful gemstones elevate this lovely vintage ring. A bright white and sparkling old Euoropean cut diamond is flanked by pear-cut sapphires, all set in wonderfully worked 18k white gold. The diamond is prong set in a square head and the sapphires are bezel set with an east/west orientation. The top of the ring and the shoulders are embellished with fine engraving and milgrain. The sides are arched and the undergallery is pierced with a lacy columnar motif. The shoulders taper back to a narrow band. This dreamy ring will make an interesting engagement ring, wedding band or anniversary gift. Circa 1920.

This ring comes with an insurance replacement cost appraisal. The appraisal is done by an independent gem lab. The appraised value is $1850.

Gem Details.....The center diamond is a 0.21ct old European cut with VVS1 clarity and F/G color. The two natural sapphires are pear-shaped faceted mixed cuts with a 0.52tcw.
