A sweet .10ct old European cut diamond is star-set in a delicately engraved platinum head that accentuates the stone's size and sparkle. Ornate openwork platinum shoulders display a charming buckle motif. The glittering platinum sits over a buttery 18ct yellow gold band, a luxurious contrast of colors and textures, and a low profile makes this ring practical. Circa 1930.
