Old Mine Cut Diamond Victorian Engagement Ring

This delightful Victorian solitaire diamond engagement ring is absolutely timeless. A 0.40ct old mine cut diamond is set in a 14k yellow gold solitaire with six prongs and the classic Victorian open curves under the diamond to allow lots of light to pass through the stone. The top of the ring tapers gently back into a slim band. The OMC has a lovely bright sparkle and the chunkiness and open culet we love in an antique diamond. The diamond sits close to the hand for a gorgeous and wearable low profile ring. Circa 1870.
