Very pretty Victorian revival earrings with opals set in ornate gold frames. The small oval opals have the dreamy iridescent quality that make these gems so fascinating. They are set in 14k yellow gold frames with elaborate beading, and dangle from engraved diamond-shaped tops. They effectively capture the feminine romance of the Victorian era. These post earrings are marked "14k" on the back. Circa 1960.
Details.....The earrings measure 21mm long and 8.3mm wide. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear to antique and vintage jewels, we consider it part of their charm.
