Opulent Garnet & Silver Gilt Bracelet with Pearl Accents

Outrageous opulence. This incredible garnet bracelet is breathtaking. Panels of elaborately worked silver gilt are hinged and set with cabochons, tear drops, and oblong tables of the rich red gems. The top of the bracelet is a subtly domed oval, with garnets set in a wind rose configuration. Floral and seashell motifs beautify the delicate metalwork, accented with curling strands of tiny seed pearls; every millimeter of the bracelet's surface is embellished. This bracelet is not marked, but it bears all indications of being an Austro-Hungarian jewel. Circa 1850.

Details.....The bracelet measures 6.75" long and graduates from .77" to 1.75" wide. In Very Good Antique Condition. You should always expect some wear on Vintage and Antique jewels; we consider it a part of their charm.
