The design of this ring is quite organic, the front in which the stone is set looks like a multi-petaled flower and the band has a branch like quality to it. There are traces of gilt. The inside of the band is marked with sterling silver and the date 1967.
The "gem" commonly referred to as Goldstone is in actuality a type of specialized glass. It is created by mixing copper and other metal oxides with molten glass and allowing tiny crystals of metallic copper to form.
Materials: Sterling silver and Goldstone.
Measurements: 16.5mm x 17.7mm at the top, 3.5mm at the back of the band.
Size: Currently a size 8 this ring can be sized for a fee.
Era: Circa 1967.
Condition: Excellent Vintage Condition with light wear in keeping with its age.
