Oval Sapphire Ring with Diamond Accents
A moody blue sapphire is flanked by two bright little diamonds in this charming Mid-century engagement ring. The Australian sapphire is a .84ct oval cut with a deep, intense color. It comes with GIA report 2223935127. The gem sits in a 14k gold basket setting with a small accent diamond prong set on either shoulder. The piece is completed with a simple half-round band. The setting is clean-lined and elegant, a wonderful way to display such a gorgeous sapphire. Circa 1960.
Details.....Currently a size 6.75. The top of the ring measures 10.6mm by 6.6mm, and the band is 1.8mm wide. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it part of the charm.
