A petite brass Egyptian Revival pendant in the form of a sarcophagus. Beautifully detailed, and enameled with some pretty convincing looking heiroglyphics. Open a latch at the base to reveal a compartment that sadly does not contain a mummy. It's perfect for a lock of hair or other small sentimental token, though. Circa 1900.
Details.....The locket measures .37" by 1.36" with bale. In Very Good Antique Condition. Imperfections are to be expected in antique jewelry; it is considered a part of its charm.
