A keeper ring was intended to hold your other rings securely on your finger during an era in which sizing a ring to fit may have been impractical or impossible. Function meets beauty, in the true Victorian style. This elaborately sculpted example has a plaited design across the front studded with gold ball details. Although this ring will still serve its original purpose nicely, it is also fun to wear on its own. This luxurious gold ring has two 18ct stamps on the inside of the band. We currently have a larger version of this ring available, they would make a fantastic matched set of wedding bands. Circa 1880.

Details.....Currently a size 6.25This ring may be sized up or down two sizes free of charge. Please contact us if you need this ring sized more than two sizes, it may be possible and will have a small fee. It measures 7.7mm wide at the top and 2.3mm at the back of the band. In Very Good Antique Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels, we consider it part of the charm.
