Platinum Topped 18k Gold Edwardian Wedding Band

A soft and lovely Edwardian wedding band. The platinum top of the band is cast in raised panels decorated with flowers. The interior of the band is 18k yellow gold and holds a hand engraved personal inscription with the date : 10-4-12. At the turn of the 20th century it was very popular to use platinum over yellow gold. It's a wonderful look and would be great alone or paired with other rings. Circa 1910.
Details.....A size 6.75, this ring cannot be sized. The band measures 2.4mm wide. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels, we consider it part of their charm.
