These playful Pop Art beads evoke Mary Quant's design sensibility. The necklace is a graduated strand of translucent red plastic spheres strung on red silk alternated with small red glass spacer beads. The short necklace clasps with a hook and beaded extender chain. This Mod piece is so graphic, with bright globes like colorful bubbles. Circa 1960.
Details.....The necklace is 15" long with a 3" extender chain. The plastic beads measure 7.7mm and 20mm in diameter. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels, we consider it a part of their charm.
